Acadiana Wine & Food Festival - enhancing Acadiana's culinary reputation and supporting the vital mission of our Museum of Art by focusing national attention on the entertainment, education and gastronomical gratification opportunities presented by world class culinary professionals and wine experts. Join us on the last weekend of October for the second annual Acadiana Wine and Food Festival. The weekend will be comprised of three major events beginning on Friday evening October 28th the Joie du Vin Dinner. Saturday October 29th a series of Food, Wine & Art Presentation will take place from 1-5 pm in the A. Hays Town Building of the Hillard Art Museum. Learn how to pair wine and food, how to start an art collection, which cheese to serve with which wines, all while rubbing elbows with some of Louisiana's finest chefs. The Grand Tasting Saturday Evening 6:00-9:30 - Stroll the grounds while dining on the finest food Acadiana has to offer while sipping world class wines. View art from premier artists of the region while enjoying live entertainment. Proceeds benefit the Hilliard Art Museum.

All tickets include free admission to the museum galleries and the feature exhibition Fabulous Flatware: Non-traditional Tools of the Table, The William P. Hood, Jr. Collection showcase over 800 contemporary flatware pieces from 1898 to 2011.
